I have the Integra LS kit (with the M45) and I see 5psi @ 3K
Hey .. I took the air box cover off.. I'm still using the stock box. I went for a road test and now I get 4PSI at 3k. Looks like the stock box is restrictive. I may have to cut some holes in the cover to get more volume. It was way louder too!
I spoke with Keith at JR. He's not quite sure but there is a possibilty on the DX's, they may boost lower because of the TLEV rating. >shrug< I guess he's going to try and find out.
I HAVE A 95 GSR integra i put the silencer in my exhaust that could be the back presure that your talking about . i also have that surging feeling that your talking about below 5000 rpm or beteewn 3500 5000 rpm i have been having this problem since last summer but i didnt know what it was and still dont IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE DO
You should expect better answers than mine, but I think you are going lean momentarily. I think this is called "lean surge".
Other people have had this.
Going by the age of your kit, I'm guessing your pressure switch is an old one that doesn't activate until 3psi boost. The new ones activate at 1psi boost and will keep the mix richer under mild boost/mid rpms.
Anyone else have better info?
